About the position
As the Lead IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for managing, implementing changes, and delivering effective IT services and support. You will handle first-line support for all IT-related issues, both on-site and remotely. Your tasks will include setting up workstations, onboarding and offboarding employees, troubleshooting client systems, and contributing to short and long-term projects aimed at enhancing our client platform and support systems.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in planning and prioritizing daily work tasks, ensuring the platform and support systems are up to date and aligned with the roadmap. As a technical coach, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the IT support team, fostering their growth and development. You will actively contribute to the IT Management group, shaping the overall roadmap and driving future improvements in the technology infrastructure.
Your Main Tasks:
- Provide first-line IT support to employees, both on-site and remotely.
- Set up and configure workstations for new hires.
- Troubleshoot client systems and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Contribute to short and long-term projects focused on improving our client platform and support systems.
- Lead and coach a small team, providing guidance and support.
- You have previous experience from roles such as IT support or equivalent, preferably with Linux experience.
- You speak and write English fluently.
Experience or interest in the following areas are desirable:
- Windows and Mac client support.
- Basic networking.
- Alarms, security controls and CCTV systems.
- Google Workplace (formerly G Suite).
- Experience in leading and coaching a small team.
- To succeed in the role, you should be responsible and thorough in your work, and have an interest in IT and preferably in the visual effects and animation field.
Start: According to agreement.
