About the position as Sales Engineer:
In the role of Sales Engineer, we are seeking an individual with a strong technical and commercial background. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the industry, establishing new customer collaborations, and ensuring sales growth. Additionally, you will be tasked with nurturing relationships with NSK’s existing clients, including distributers, OEM and MRO, predominantly within the Process industry sectors such as Automotive, Steel & Metals, Machine Tools, Papermaking Machinery, and Injection Molding Machines.

You will have comprehensive sales responsibility for Sweden, focusing on technical areas such as bearing and linear technology. Your role involves seeking new, innovative solutions to enhance NSK’s products and services, including developing business cases for both external and internal stakeholders. You will primarily work remotely and are expected to spend most of your working week engaging with customers. You will have autonomy balanced with responsibility and access to a supportive team for addressing both commercial and technical challenges. The sales cycles may vary in length, and your primary objective will be to cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships.

The role consists of, but is not limited to:
• Being a driving force behind development of the business with NSK's existing industrial customers by helping them with their technical challenges.
• Finding new business opportunities within the industry to strengthen NSK’s overall market presence.
• Identify and develop sales led opportunities to support and expand the Industrial Aftermarket business.
• Development of distributors, MRO and OEM relationships to ensure the sales growth together with the different distribution partners in Sweden.

About you:
We are looking for you who have a technical education or have work experience that can be considered equivalent. You have at least a couple of years of experience in technical sales. If you have also worked with bearings and linear technology within one of NSK's industries, it is advantageous. You possess a technical understanding and have a strong desire to develop your further knowledge. You are a natural relationships builder and have solid experience in strengthening and developing business. You need to have good computer skills and are fluent in verbal and written English as well as Swedish.

Furthermore, we see you as an excellent communicator who goes the extra mile to achieve a good result with your customers.

Important for the role is:
• Technical educational background, and/or work experience that can be considered equivalent.
• At least a couple of years of work experience in technical sales.
• Experience in building strong, trusting customer relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Business and goal-oriented thinking with an independent way of working.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.
• B driving license.
